Job Summary
Direct and oversee all rehabilitation services in accordance with facility goals and regulatory standards. Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, implement policy updates, and maintain survey readiness during state and federal inspections. Collaborate with residents, families, physicians, and the interdisciplinary team to develop individualized treatment plans and lead care meetings to improve outcomes. Manage department staffing, scheduling, productivity, and resource allocation while supervising therapy documentation for accuracy and timeliness. Identify operational challenges and recommend solutions to facility leadership, building strong relationships with physicians, referral sources, and community partners. Monitor departmental performance to drive continuous quality improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted PT, OT, or SLP license
- Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of rehabilitation experience
- 1 year in a leadership or supervisory role
- Previous Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR) or Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) experience
- Working knowledge of Net Health, TSI, and PCC
- Strong understanding of RUGs, CMI, Medicare, and skilled nursing rehabilitation operations
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Florida Clearinghouse background screening

- SNF or hospital experience
- Previous Assistant Director of Rehabilitation (ADOR) or Director of Rehabilitation (DOR) experience
