Job Summary
Director of Rehabilitation leading a rehabilitation program across facility locations, managing staffing and patient care to meet clinical and operational needs, delivering direct patient care in PT/OT/SLP, ensuring Medicare/Medicaid compliance, supervising therapy staff hiring and development, overseeing billing/revenue, monitoring space/equipment, and driving performance improvement and strategic planning to support resident outcomes and facility performance.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Leadership experience in a long-term care or rehabilitation setting (preferred)
- Strong organizational, communication, and team-building skills
- Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, and alternative payment model guidelines
- Ability to deliver high-quality patient care while leading a therapy team
- Proactive, compassionate, and driven to achieve positive outcomes for residents
