Job Summary
Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff who evaluate and treat patients under physician prescription. Act as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical staff, nursing, and the community. Maintain sufficient staffing levels, provide orientation and professional development, and evaluate services. Coordinate rehabilitation with other departments, manage departmental records and budgets, and conduct annual performance evaluations. Provide direct patient care as needed, lead staff meetings for communication and problem-solving, and prepare quarterly quality assurance reports. Promote referrals through marketing activities and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, resident rights, and confidentiality policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Must possess current and unencumbered license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Demonstrates ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
- Must have three to five years of clinical experience, preferably with Geriatric population, with at least one year of supervisory experience
