Job Summary
Oversee Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff to evaluate and treat patients under physician prescription. Act as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical staff, and nursing teams while coordinating rehabilitation services across departments. Maintain sufficient staffing levels, conduct annual performance evaluations, and provide orientation and professional development opportunities. Manage department records, prepare quarterly quality assurance reports, and conduct marketing activities to promote referrals. Provide direct patient care as needed, ensure a safe environment through in-service education, and actively participate in staff meetings for problem-solving.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Must possess current and unencumbered license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Demonstrates ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
- Must have three to five years of clinical experience, preferably with Geriatric population, with at least one year of supervisory experience
