Job Summary
Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff who evaluate and treat patients under physician prescription. Act as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical staff, and nursing teams while maintaining sufficient staffing levels for quality care. Provide direct patient care as needed, conduct annual performance evaluations, and prepare quarterly Quality Assurance Reports. Coordinate rehabilitation services with other departments, manage departmental budgets and records, and lead staff meetings for communication and problem-solving. Promote referral marketing, ensure compliance with safety and resident rights policies, and foster professional development through orientation and training opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Must possess current and unencumbered license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Demonstrates ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
- Must have three to five years of clinical experience, preferably with Geriatric population, with at least one year of supervisory experience
