Job Summary
Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff who evaluate and treat patients under physician prescription. Act as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical, and nursing teams while coordinating rehabilitation services and maintaining departmental records and budget reports. Provide direct patient care as needed, conduct annual performance evaluations, and prepare quarterly Quality Assurance Reports. Maintain a sufficient staff for quality care, offer orientation and professional development opportunities, and lead staff meetings for communication and problem-solving. Promote a safe environment through in-service education, conduct marketing activities for referrals, and ensure compliance with safety, resident rights, and confidentiality policies.
Required Qualifications
- graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- current and unencumbered license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
- three to five years of clinical experience
- experience with Geriatric population
- at least one year of supervisory experience
