Director of Rehab - Skilling Nursing Community

Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff to evaluate and treat patients of all ages under physician prescription. Act as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical staff, nursing, and the community while maintaining sufficient staffing levels for quality care. Provide direct patient care as needed, conduct annual performance evaluations, and prepare quarterly Quality Assurance Reports for the QA Committee. Coordinate rehabilitation services with other departments, maintain departmental budget records, and prepare information for yearly budgets. Manage staff orientation, professional development, and in-service education to promote a safe, clean environment. Conduct regular staff meetings for communication, education, and problem-solving while promoting referral marketing activities. Comply with community policies regarding resident rights, abuse prevention, confidentiality, and workplace safety protocols.
