Job Summary
Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff to evaluate and treat patients under physician prescription, acting as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical staff, and the community. Maintain a sufficient staff for quality care, provide orientation and development opportunities, and conduct annual performance evaluations. Coordinate rehabilitation services with other departments, maintain departmental budget records, and prepare quarterly Quality Assurance Reports. Provide direct patient care as needed, conduct regular staff meetings for communication and problem-solving, and prepare quarterly marketing activities for referrals. Promote a safe environment through in-service education and ensure compliance with all policies regarding resident rights, confidentiality, and workplace safety.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Must possess current and unencumbered license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Demonstrates ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
- Must have three to five years of clinical experience, preferably with Geriatric population, with at least one year of supervisory experience
