Job Summary
Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff under physician prescription to evaluate and treat patients of all ages. Maintain a sufficient staff for quality care, provide orientation and professional development opportunities, and conduct annual performance evaluations. Coordinate rehabilitation services with other disciplines, prepare quarterly quality assurance reports, and manage departmental budget records. Act as a liaison between therapy teams, administration, medical staff, and the community while conducting regular staff meetings for communication and problem solving. Provide direct patient care as needed, promote referrals through marketing activities, and ensure compliance with safety, infection control, and resident rights policies.
Required Qualifications
- Must be a graduate of an approved school of Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Must possess current and unencumbered license in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, or Physical Therapy
- Demonstrates ability to read, write and speak English sufficient to fulfill job requirements
- Must have three to five years of clinical experience, preferably with Geriatric population, with at least one year of supervisory experience
