Director of Rehab - Skilling Nursing Community

Supervise Occupational, Speech, and Physical Therapy staff who evaluate and treat patients of all ages under physician prescription. Act as a liaison between therapy disciplines, administration, medical staff, nursing, and the community while coordinating rehabilitation services with other departments. Maintain a sufficient staff for quality care, provide orientation and development opportunities, and conduct annual performance evaluations. Evaluate department services, maintain budget and financial records, and prepare quarterly Quality Assurance Reports. Provide direct patient care as needed, conduct regular staff meetings for communication and problem-solving, and prepare marketing activities to promote referrals. Promote a safe environment through in-service education and ensure compliance with community policies, resident rights, and infection control protocols.
