Job Summary
As Director of Rehabilitation, organize, develop, manage, and direct the overall operations of the Rehabilitation Service Department in accordance with applicable standards and regulations. Lead efforts to return residents to optimal physical function and facilitate achievement of resident, physician, and therapy goals. Ensure compliance with health, sanitary, and infection control policies and uphold the community's standards of practice. Role requires valid state license as a therapist or therapist assistant and a minimum of two years of therapy experience in healthcare, preferably long-term care. Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid and current license as a therapist or therapist assistant granted from the state of employment.
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a therapy role in a hospital, rehabilitation community or other related healthcare community, preferably in long term care.
