Engage new residents to determine their interests and assist in establishing monthly activity calendars. Lead recreational programs to meet resident interests while supporting volunteers during activities. Assist in religious services and monthly festivities and parties at the facility. Maintain strong organizational and planning skills to multi-task effectively within this 80-bed rehabilitation and skilled nursing facility in Troy, NY.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience as a Recreation Assistant or Director in a healthcare setting
- Must be very organized
- Ability to lead others
- Strong computer skills
- Positive, outgoing, upbeat personality
