Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and implement a therapeutic recreation and activities program on a regular basis to meet individual client needs and interests. Design programs that support clients in their recovery journey by developing skills to thrive through a personal, self-directed process. Full-time position with a salary range of $40–$55 USD per hour. Requires licensure as an occupational therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, art therapist, or recreation therapist, plus two years of experience in social or recreational programs within the past five years. Current CPR certification and a California driver's license are required. Located at the Crestwood Center in Angwin, Napa Valley, this role contributes to a versatile array of classes for clients participating in their recovery program.
Required Qualifications
- Must be registered or eligible for registration as an occupational therapist, music therapist, dance therapist, art therapist, or recreation therapist
- Must have two (2) years experience in a social or recreational program within the past five (5) years, one year of which was full-time in a client activities program in a health care setting or Bachelor's degree in therapeutic recreation who is registered or eligible for registration as a recreation therapist by the California Board of Parks and Recreation Certification or the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation Certification

- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background investigation including criminal history and identity check
