Job Summary
Lead expansion projects across the senior housing portfolio, managing feasibility, entitlements, design, construction, and closeout. Coordinate third-party consultants, architects, engineers, and attorneys while developing project schedules, budgets, and reporting systems. Identify adjacent land targets, negotiate purchase agreements, and conduct due diligence on acquisition opportunities. Manage zoning and permitting processes across New England jurisdictions, representing projects at public hearings. Oversee architectural design, contractor selection, and construction activities to ensure delivery within budget. Develop project budgets, support underwriting models, and track financial performance. Prepare investment committee memoranda and deliver presentations to executives and investors regarding project status and risks.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Real Estate, Finance, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field
- 5–7 years of experience in real estate development, construction management, or a related field
- Experience managing ground-up or expansion projects, ideally within senior housing, healthcare, or multifamily sectors
- Strong understanding of zoning, permitting, and entitlement processes
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
