Job Summary
The Director of Radiology oversees the Imaging Services Department, ensuring compliance with patient care quality standards across all age groups, from newborns to the elderly. Responsibilities include planning and directing Imaging Services operations, budgeting for personnel and operating expenses, and maintaining compliance with regulatory laws. The role requires strong leadership in human resource management, effective communication with hospital staff and administration, and active participation in quality assurance and performance improvement activities. The position necessitates the ability to conduct thorough analysis and implement improved methods for imaging services.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelors of Radiology Sciences or other related degrees required.
- Minimum 2 years of Imaging Services supervision/administration required.
- Minimum of 5 years experience in Radiology certified specialty.
- BLS certified
- AART Certification and at least one Radiology specialty certification, such as CT, MRI, or Dexa.
Desired Qualifications
- Additional languages are desirable.
- Basic computer knowledge.
