Job Summary
Lead the racquet sports operation by fostering a high-performing team environment and selecting, training, and retaining staff for tennis and pickleball programs. Schedule courts, clinics, and instruction to maximize member participation while overseeing the annual budget and fee collection. Develop and deliver a premier event program, including championships and tournaments, serving as emcee and coordinating league play. Operate outstanding instructional programs for all age groups, ensuring facility maintenance, safety compliance, and accurate billing. Promote the department to the membership, update the website, and benchmark programs against national standards to maintain quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A.)
- 7 years of related experience
- equivalent combination of education/experience
- Progressive racquet operations leadership or management experience
- Demonstrated leadership in operational change management
- ability to successfully implement new initiatives

- exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- ability to communicate clearly, professionally, and effectively with members, guests, employees, and Club leadership
- Proficient at utilizing Windows software
- General working knowledge of Point-of-Sale systems
- General working knowledge of electronic court registration software
- Strong racquet playing background, NTRP level 4.0 or higher
- certified Tennis professional (RSPA Elite or Master Professional)
- certified Pickleball Professional (RSPA and/or PPR)
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

- Experience at an active, upscale private country club or resort
