Job Summary
Execute RealTruck Quality Management Systems (QMS) deployment and optimize processes to reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) while improving customer satisfaction. Drive quality excellence by creating strategies, monitoring trends, and leading corrective actions for recurring trouble spots across divisions. Ensure quality metrics are deployed and tracked at the division level, supporting local teams in improving warranty, scrap, and other key metrics. Collaborate with cross-functional management to align resolution strategies and maintain a structured, disciplined quality approach. Approximately 30% travel required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of experience in Quality Systems Engineering within a manufacturing environment
- 5+ years of effective team leadership
- Proven track record of driving quality improvements over time
- Lean/Six Sigma green belt certification or equivalent work experience or company certification
- Thorough knowledge of quality assurance methods and improvement tools
- Advanced Product Quality Planning
- Dimensional Metrology
- Quality System Management
- Ability to balance team and individual responsibilities
- Displays original thinking and creativity
- Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner
- Data Analytics
- Expert level Excel skills
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- Approximately 30% travel (Maybe higher during certain periods)

- Experience in the automotive industry that demonstrates working knowledge for quality requirements, protocols and automotive customer's expectations
- Knowledgeable in Mini-Tab
