Job Summary
Lead and strengthen quality standards across business units and project sites, establishing consistent execution and compliance with customer requirements and industry codes. Partner with operations and leadership teams to drive accountability, reduce risk, and improve quality performance through audit activities and corrective action oversight. Monitor quality metrics to identify performance trends and develop and mentor team members while managing departmental goals and budgets. Establish quality expectations and promote a culture of excellence company-wide to support strategic business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years of experience leading quality programs within construction, industrial, manufacturing, EPC, energy, or heavy industrial environments
- 10+ years leading quality teams and developing quality strategy
- Extensive knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, auditing, corrective actions, and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience managing customer, regulatory, and third-party compliance requirements
- Strong executive presence and ability to influence operational leaders
- Ability to travel to project sites
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or related field
- Must be able to safely access all areas of property
- Must be able to effectively use any required PPE equipment
- Must be able to lift, carry and move up to 30 pounds as needed
- Must be able to walk around indoor and outdoor job sites with distances up to ten miles on uneven, paved, gravel, dirt or sandy surfaces
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or related field (preferred)
- ASQ certifications (CQE, CMQ/OE, CQA) (preferred)
- ISO 9001 implementation or auditing experience (preferred)
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Operational Excellence experience (preferred)
- Experience supporting large-scale industrial or construction projects (preferred)
