Job Summary
Director of Quality Assurance & Infection Control in Roanoke, VA. Responsible for identifying problems, planning solutions, and overseeing infection control measures; monitor infection trends and initiate corrective actions; review policies/procedures and revise as indicated; participate in regulatory surveys; supervise staff performance and provide education; conduct in-services; track immunization documentation and COVID data. Requires an unencumbered RN or LPN license in Virginia, nursing degree or equivalent RN/LPN program graduation, BLS (ACLS preferred), and five years of clinical experience. CIC certification should be achieved within two years in the role. Required Qualifications
- Unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Virginia
- Nursing degree from an accredited institution or equivalent graduation from an approved RN/LPN program
- BLS required/ACLS preferred
- Five years of relevant clinical experience
- Certification in Infection Control (CIC) should be achieved within two years in the position
