Job Summary
Oversee performance management for the Division of Environmental Health, focusing on continual improvement, quality assurance, and efficiency. Coordinate 311 operations, service request response, analytics, and strategy while tracking implementation of new program initiatives. Conduct planning for the Division to maintain core services during emergency activations and collaborate with internal partners to develop and track performance metrics. Represent Division leadership with City partners and external stakeholders to drive innovation and optimization. Manage program operations across financial analysis, organizational strategy, and initiative implementation under the direction of the Assistant Commissioner.
Required Qualifications
- A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university
- Five years of full-time paid experience acquired within the last fifteen years
- Supervisory or administrative experience including handling of business promotion or urban economic problems
- At least 2 years of managerial or executive capacity experience with primary focus on business promotion or urban economic planning
- A satisfactory equivalent combination of education and experience
- Two years of managerial or executive experience as described in requirement 1
- Appropriate graduate study in an accredited college or university (substituted for general experience on a year-for-year basis)
- A four-year high school diploma or its equivalent approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization
