Job Summary

Lead Brio’s product quality and regulatory compliance function across the full product lifecycle, defining and owning the enterprise quality strategy and governing the quality management system. Oversee prototype evaluation, product testing, certification, supplier/manufacturing quality, regulatory compliance, and post-market field performance. Establish standards, frameworks, processes, and metrics to protect product integrity, ensure regulatory readiness, and uphold the Brio brand. Manage the Product Quality and Compliance team, budget, and resources, and drive a culture of data-driven decision-making, accountability, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain to align quality with business priorities and go-to-market objectives; monitor key quality metrics and lead corrective-action initiatives. Oversee testing programs, root-cause analysis, supplier and manufacturing quality, and post-market feedback; lead major retail partner responses, traceability, and return-to-vendor activities. Define quality gates for prototypes, ensure regulatory compliance through certifications, maintain documentation, and drive standardized workflows and dashboards. Ensure company-wide compliance training and readiness for audits and customer requirements; manage supplier quality across a global multi-vendor base and conduct on-site and remote audits.

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in product quality assurance, regulatory affairs, or supplier quality within manufacturing, consumer products, appliances, water treatment, or related product-based environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Operations, or related field
  • Experience with leading quality programs, compliance frameworks, product testing processes, and supplier quality management
  • Experience working with UL, NSF, ISTA, FDA, and other applicable product safety, certification, and regulatory standards
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to drive continuous improvement
  • Proven ability to represent product quality and compliance to executive leadership, regulatory or certification bodies, and major retail/e-commerce partners
  • Proven leadership experience, including budgeting, department-level processes, and team development
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Experience building and leading teams and managing budgets
  • Preferred: experience in water treatment, ISTA testing, ISO 9001 familiarity, big-box/retail partner compliance experiences
