Job Summary
Director of Product Management for Search at Roku is responsible for defining the multi-year strategy for the Roku Entertainment Assistant, owning the long-term roadmap across Search and Voice, aligning with senior leadership, growing and mentoring a high-performing PM team, and driving monetization outcomes and product quality. The role requires leading AI/ML initiatives (including LLMs and retrieval-augmented generation), building cross-functional partnerships across Engineering, Design, Analytics, Ads, Content, and Business Development, and communicating strategy and outcomes to executives while maintaining data-driven decision making and governance around KPIs, experimentation, and user value.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10+ years of product management experience in consumer Search/AI/ML or large-scale data-driven products
- 3+ years in a Director or equivalent leadership role
- Proven track record in defining and delivering multi-year product strategies
- Experience owning monetization and business outcomes with revenue-linked KPIs
- Expertise in search technologies, conversational AI, content metadata, ML/AI, and A/B experimentation at scale
- Executive presence and exceptional communication skills to present to senior leadership
- Cross-functional leadership and influence in matrixed organizations
- Comfort with AI safety, content policy, privacy, and compliance in consumer-facing experiences
