Job Summary
Lead the strategic direction of the Canadian product portfolio and pricing architecture, driving decisions that support sustainable growth, profitability, and customer value. Build and evolve pricing strategies to improve margins and competitiveness while establishing performance metrics to track revenue growth and market position. Strengthen full product lifecycle management from ideation to commercialization and introduce practical disciplines that enhance decision-making and execution. Partner closely with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and R&D teams to identify growth opportunities and ensure strategies are well-understood across the matrix organization. Lead and grow a high-performing team of product and pricing professionals, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. This role requires 10+ years of commercial leadership experience, with up to 30% travel time, and sits within a North American manufacturer serving residential and commercial markets.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in product management, pricing, or related commercial leadership roles
- Proven track record in product portfolio strategy and lifecycle management
- Proven track record in new product development and commercialization framework (stage gate)
- Proven track record in pricing strategy and margin improvement
- Experience working in complex, cross-functional environments
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Experience in business case modeling
- High strategic and critical thinking ability
- Strong data, analytical, and planning skills
- Ability to generate data-driven insights that combine quantitative and qualitative methods into actionable strategies and plans
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to provide clear and concise insights and recommendations to senior leadership
- Ability to articulate high level strategies into actionable team goals
- Computer, software, and MS Office skills necessary to support the role
- Travel requirement: up to 30% of time
