Job Summary
Director of Product Development leading AMMI/EASE product strategy with an AI-native platform focus. Owns the product vision, multi-year roadmap, and governance; drives backlog prioritization, sprint cadence, and alignment of development velocity with enterprise priorities. Co-leads enterprise AI strategy, evaluates vendors/partners, and champions intelligent automation, ML, predictive analytics, and decision-support across the product stack. Responsible for pricing science, KPI definition (SPEED), RFP support, go-to-market collaboration, and cross-functional leadership of a blended in-house/external development model. Delivers measurable business outcomes through hypothesis-driven development, rapid prototyping, and data-informed iteration; translates complex technical concepts into commercial narratives for non-technical stakeholders. Ensures governance, performance standards, vendor relationships, and budget management are aligned with strategic objectives and operational impact.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required; Master’s degree strongly preferred
- 10+ years of progressive experience in product management, product development, or software engineering with 3–5 years in senior leadership
- Demonstrated success building and scaling software products in logistics or related SaaS environments
- Experience developing and deploying AI/ML-powered products; familiarity with ML workflows and AI integration
- Experience leading blended internal/external development teams
- Ability to translate business strategy into product requirements and measurable outcomes
- Knowledge of cloud-native development (AWS/Azure/GCP) and modern software architectures
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional stakeholder management skills
- Experience with data science leadership, ML model development, data pipelines, analytics
