Director of Product, Customer Experience

Job Summary
Define and drive product strategy across the customer experience for Voltus’ platform, including enrollment, dispatch, performance, settlement, metering and hardware data, and the financial experience; lead and grow a PM team as a player-coach; build a scalable self-serve customer experience; collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, design, energy markets, GTM, and leadership to deliver outcomes; own metrics like engagement, retention, settlement accuracy, value per MW, and financial transparency; role is fully remote with eligibility to work in the United States or Canada.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in Product Management, with at least 3+ years leading and scaling PM teams in high-growth environments
- Deep expertise in energy markets, specifically demand response, DER participation, energy storage, or grid services
- Proven track record shipping customer-facing products at scale
- Player-coach orientation and leadership
- Fluency turning economic complexity into trust with customers
- Experience bringing AI into product organizations and improving discovery, specs, prototypes, and shipping features
- Scrappy, action-oriented mindset with fast decision-making and cross-functional influence
- Effective communication across executives and teams
