Job Summary
Develop and lead the strategy for optimizing TruGreen's $650 million indirect spend across Sales & Marketing, HR, IT, and communications. Formulate and communicate organization-wide purchasing programs for services, software, equipment, and supplies while directing procurement for non-production departments. Drive compliance with indirect spend buying policies, standardize specs, aggregate spend, and consolidate suppliers to control costs and maximize value. Perform financial planning and analysis to identify value improvement opportunities and coach associates on process control, automation, and innovation. Manage relationships and performance with indirect spend suppliers and BU leaders to ensure alignment of objectives.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree
- 15 years of demonstrated success in leading automation in financial, technology, and/or purchasing processes across diverse businesses and cultures
- Demonstrated success in building relationships with senior leaders and providing value/synergy between business needs and technological innovation
- Proven ability to lead people, projects, and process changes
- Knowledge of direct and indirect category products and services
- Comprehensive knowledge of sourcing and category management concepts, principles, practices, and strategies
- Comprehensive knowledge of contractual terms and conditions (e.g., indemnification, intellectual property, force majeure, amendments/exhibits, statements of work)
- Contract negotiation skills
- Executive presence and influencing skills
- Financial analysis skills
- Organizational, project and process management and leadership skills
- Written and verbal communication skills, including delivering presentations
- Business process analysis skills
- Attention to detail and quantitative analytical skills
- Supervisory management and leadership skills, including coaching and performance management
- Computer skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Ability to speak, read and write fluently in English
- You MUST BE physically located in the United States while performing this job
- Ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
