Job Summary
Manage procurement of all raw materials, components, packaging, capital equipment, and other materials for purchases exceeding $25 million annually, with expectations to double. Establish vendor management protocols and relationships to ensure on-time delivery, high-quality products, and competitive pricing, while building alternative suppliers for key materials to ensure continuity. Benchmark results against industry standards and competitors, then build a high-performing team to drive continuous improvement and supply chain initiatives supporting speed, flexibility, and gross margin improvement. Manage inventory levels to balance carrying costs with customer demand requirements, providing accurate, timely estimations to internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, Business Management, Materials Management or similar
- 10+ years minimum of Supply Chain: Product Development/Sourcing with a majority of this experience in the Cosmetics Industry
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with teams across the entire organization
- Data-driven operations, performance metrics, and fiscally responsible
- Action-oriented
- Strategic agility
- Ability to build and manage a highly proficient team

- Proven track record of successful negotiation skills
