Director of Process Engineering - Northeast

Job Summary
The Director of Process Engineering will lead and implement process engineering system management, principles, and best practices at all AbHy sites, focusing on efficiency improvement and productivity projects. Responsibilities include driving divisional alignment with Operations, Planning, Quality, and Maintenance, managing engineering standards and practices, and developing training programs in engineering practices. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, significant experience in high-speed manufacturing, and familiarity with software, data analytics, and lean manufacturing strategies. The role requires strong problem-solving skills, effective communication, and an ability to work as a business partner, with approximately 20% travel expected.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering
- Minimum of ten years of experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment
- Minimum of five years of all business-related software systems experience
- Exceptional analytical problem solver with training in SPC and DOE
- Proven track record of implementing new systems and procedures
- Strong personal computer proficiency with MS Office and all related software
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written with executive presence
- Demonstrated ability to act as a business partner
- Data-driven, disciplined, objective and detail oriented
Desired Qualifications
- Black Belt/Six Sigma certification preferred
- Strong experience with lean manufacturing strategies used to reduce waste
- Strong experience with Error Proofing and Design principles
