Job Summary

Oversee daily preschool operations including hiring and retaining qualified staff, managing budgets, and developing policies that meet state licensing requirements. Lead a Godly, child-focused environment by organizing staff meetings, mentoring, and conducting classroom observations while creating curricula that support educational excellence. Manage enrollment goals, student assessments, and parent involvement to ensure the institution fosters strong relationships between early childhood, K-8, and the church. This 12-month role requires a Bachelor's in early childhood education and five years of experience to uphold the school's mission and vision.

  • Bachelor's in early childhood education
  • Five years of experience working in a preschool or early childhood environment
  • Experience as a director/assistant director
  • First aid and CPR certification
  • Knowledge and understanding of license requirements
  • Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Adobe PDF, and Facebook
  • Excellent organization skills
  • ability to communicate effectively
  • Knowledge of preschool developmentally appropriate practices
  • Desire to foster a strong relationship between early childhood, K-8, and church
  • Supervise and lead staff
  • Hiring and retention of enthusiastic, qualified staff
  • Organizing professional development training & mentoring
