Job Summary
Director of the Child Development Center at St Gregory Catholic School in San Antonio, TX, overseeing a Catholic-focused early childhood program. Responsibilities include instructional management, supervision and evaluation of staff, hiring and orientation, budgeting and fiscal controls, policy development, adherence to Texas DFPS licensing standards and annual inspections, compliance with Archdiocese policies, maintaining confidentiality and safety protocols, parent education and outreach, and ensuring high-quality developmentally appropriate practices aligned with the school’s mission. Required Qualifications
- Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education
- Three years of experience as a classroom teacher of young children
- Three to five years’ experience managing childcare
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver license
- Valid vehicle insurance
- Certified as a Director of a child care center per the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services preferred
