Job Summary
Manage and oversee the operations, performance, and growth of Sampson Regional Medical Center practices both on and off campus. Serve as the primary administrative liaison between individual practices, physicians, and hospital departments while collaborating with the CEO and CMO on medical staff supervision. Formulate and implement management policies, prepare operational and capital budgets, and investigate complaints to resolve issues timely. Monitor key practice indicators to identify trends and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Lead the selection and supervision of clerical and clinical personnel, promote staff education, and represent the practices as public representatives.
Required Qualifications
- A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or a related field, or a combination of general and specialized education and direct experience equivalent to bachelor's degree in a related field
- Five years of progressive leadership experience and proven success in a physician practice management or healthcare business setting
- Experience in the development of new services, professional and ancillary, start-up operations of new practices and offices including design and construction related activities
- Strong leadership skills, ability to inspire and motivate staff at all levels towards achieving a common objective
- Leads by example, fostering an environment of trust and cooperation
- Experience in developing, implementing and executing an operational plan
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge in fiscal management, human resource management techniques, accounting systems, insurance billing and collection, budgets, government regulations and compliance requirements for a medical practice preferred
