Job Summary
Directs and oversees maintenance operations for a healthcare center, supervising staff, developing and managing the annual maintenance budget, scheduling and performing preventive maintenance, and administering contracts for outsourced maintenance. Maintains compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, JCAHO, OBRA, and other regulations; conducts environmental rounds; coordinates with the Center Administrator and home office for guidance; leads safety and hazardous materials initiatives; and contributes to improving operating efficiencies and controlling costs while delivering dependable maintenance services in a patient-focused environment.
Required Qualifications
- 3 to 5 years healthcare or equivalent field
- Knowledgeable Life Safety NFPA OSHA regulations
- Strong skill set in electrical, carpentry, plumbing, mechanical
