Job Summary
Director of Plant Maintenance oversees maintenance operations at Canfield Healthcare Center, including staffing, scheduling, budget administration, environmental rounds, preventive maintenance, and contracts outsourcing. Ensures regulatory compliance (OSHA, OBRA, NFPA, EPA, JCAHO, state Dept. of Health) and maintains safe, clean, homelike facilities for residents. Works closely with Center Administrator and CHS leadership; participates in committees (safety, hazardous materials) and maintains records of repairs/expenses to forecast future needs. Requires leadership, budgeting, and hands-on maintenance oversight within a post-acute care environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree preferred or equivalent experience plus 3 to 5 years related experience
- Prior work experience in a related field plus at least 3 years prior management/supervisory experience
