Job Summary
Director of Philanthropy, Athletics leads and coordinates athletic major gift fundraising and corporate partnership development for Florida Tech Panther Athletics, including prospect discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of donors; develops strategic fundraising plans, prepares tailored proposals and communications for major gifts ($25,000+), coordinates donor engagement activities, secures meetings with university leadership, cultivates relationships with local and national businesses to drive sponsorship revenue, drafts sponsorship agreements, ensures compliance with NCAA/SSC/University regulations, and maintains donor and partner records using Raiser's Edge CRM; requires Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and front-line fundraising experience in a higher education environment is desirable.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree Required in Business, Communications/Public Relations, Business Administration/Marketing, Philanthropic Studies/Nonprofit Management, or Psychology
- Previous experience working in a front-line fundraising or Corporate Relations role.
