Job Summary
Director of Pharmacy to lead Visante's Specialty and Retail Pharmacy managed services onsite. Responsibilities include strategic leadership of ambulatory pharmacy services, overseeing specialty and retail programs, ensuring quality, regulatory compliance, budgeting and financial productivity, and driving business growth. Partner with Infusion Strategy, Revenue Cycle, Medication Access, 340B, and client committees to enhance service delivery; implement quality assurance/improvement programs; manage human resources; ensure accreditation standards (state/federal/regulatory) are met; oversee operations across multiple locations including dispensing and clinical programs; lead qualifications development and staff supervision for Pharmacists, Pharmacy Technicians, Medication Access Technicians, and support staff; stay abreast of innovations in pharmacy practice and technology; drive contracting strategies and program expansion.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or B.S. Pharmacy from an accredited college or university
- Current Pharmacist License in Georgia
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience leading sales and/or operations in Specialty Pharmacy
- Minimum of 3 years of experience managing a Profit and Loss (P&L) budget
- Proficiency in Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
