Job Summary
Oversee all pharmacy operations, including interpreting prescriptions, dispensing medications, and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and DEA regulations. Lead the 340B program by managing implementation, monitoring performance, and maintaining audit readiness while optimizing vendor relationships and contract negotiations. Manage pharmacy budgets, approve expenditures, and develop business plans for service expansion. Recruit, train, and supervise pharmacy personnel, establishing performance standards and fostering continuous improvement. Collaborate with clinical and operational leaders to drive quality initiatives, optimize workflows, and support patient self-management within the Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
Required Qualifications
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) from an accredited school or college of pharmacy
- Minimum five (5) years of progressive outpatient pharmacy experience
- Minimum three (3) years of pharmacy leadership or supervisory experience
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs)
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with 340B Drug Pricing Program operations
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with HRSA compliance
- Minimum two (2) years of experience with Ambulatory care pharmacy services
Desired Qualifications
- Board Certified Ambulatory Care Pharmacist (BCACP)
- 340B Advanced Operations Certificate (340B ACE)
- Experience opening or managing new pharmacy operations
- Experience with Ambulatory pharmacy technology systems
