Job Summary
Directs all hospital pharmacy operations at AlpineVista Behavioral Healthcare, leading strategic leadership for pharmacy services, ensuring safe, evidence-based medication use, overseeing leadership and staff (pharmacists, technicians, and support teams), maintaining regulatory compliance (Joint Commission, CMS, USP, BOP and state/federal laws), managing budgeting, purchasing, contract management, and cost-containment initiatives, and driving innovation and system-wide improvements in coordination with executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- BS or PharmD from an accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current Colorado Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience using computer applications including MS Office, pharmacy information systems, and automated dispensing systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns
- Demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting
