Job Summary
Director of Personal Trust Services to lead a senior team of Trust Officers and Administrators, overseeing fiduciary administration, regulatory compliance, risk management, and strategic growth of complex trust accounts (Settlement, Directed, and Wealth Management). Responsibilities include hiring and developing talent, performance management, ensuring accurate tax reporting and court accountings, guiding onboarding to long-term administration, and serving as a key participant in risk assessment and committee discussions. Required to leverage extensive trust experience, leadership capabilities, and strong interpersonal skills to represent the firm to attorneys, advisors, and high-net-worth clients; preferred JD or CTFA credentials.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in professional trust administration
- At least 5 years of experience in a formal management or supervisory capacity
- Deep familiarity with Settlement Trusts, Directed Trusts, and sophisticated estate planning techniques
Desired Qualifications
- JD (Juris Doctor)
- CTFA (Certified Trust and Financial Advisor)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- 10+ years of professional trust administration experience
- 5+ years of formal management or supervisory experience
- Experience with Settlement Trusts and Directed Trusts
- Experience with wealth management and complex fiduciary administration
