Job Summary
Director of Performance Marketing at Expo Home Improvement leading ownership and optimization of all performance marketing channels (paid search, paid social, display, OTT/streaming, direct mail, and third-party lead generation). Responsible for driving cost-of-marketing efficiency to a target of 15% or below, establishing channel attribution and real-time dashboards, and identifying underperforming channels for budget reallocation. Own full funnel from lead generation to appointment set, aligning with Sales on lead quality and revenue outcomes, building lead scoring and routing in partnership with CRM/operations, and delivering channel-level P&L tied to installed revenue. Manage internal marketing staff and external agency/vendor relationships, set performance expectations, and advise on in-house vs. outsourced capabilities. Collaborate on annual planning, budget allocation, and brand positioning to drive growth from $66M to $87M+ in revenue. Based at Expo Home Improvement’s Texas headquarters with occasional local travel; office environment with heavy use of computers and data platforms.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of performance marketing experience, with at least 2 years in the home improvement, home services, or adjacent industry (windows, roofing, HVAC, solar, remodeling, etc.)
- Proven track record of managing $3M+ in annual paid media spend with measurable ROI outcomes
- Deep expertise in Google Ads, Meta Ads, and multi-channel attribution
- Experience with CRM systems (Salesforce preferred) and connecting marketing data to sales outcomes
- Strong analytical skills — comfortable building and owning performance dashboards
- Demonstrated ability to manage and develop a marketing team
