Job Summary
Director of People to lead CARR Biosystems’ people strategy as a member of the Executive Leadership Team. Responsible for aligning People & Culture with business goals, building an inclusive, high-trust culture, leading leadership development and performance management, workforce planning and talent pipelines (including recruiting and onboarding), overseeing compensation and benefits for market competitiveness, and using metrics/dashboards to drive decisions. Leads HR operations, policy updates, and continuous improvement of People processes (including AI collaboration). Requires strong HR expertise across talent, leadership development, and organizational development, with multi-site/international exposure a plus; ability to influence senior executives and partner with the CEO to shape culture and performance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business, or related field (Master’s/HR certification preferred)
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience
- 2+ years leading people with strategic impact
- Experience influencing senior executives, assessing org structure, and supporting acquisition integrations
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills across levels
- High empathy and integrity with the ability to build an inclusive, high-trust culture
- Broad HR knowledge across talent, leadership development, and org development
- Working knowledge of U.S. multi-state employment law; global HR compliance exposure is a plus
- Analytical & tech-savvy: Experience tracking HR metrics and using HRIS/analytics tools
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills for analysis and storytelling
- Ability to lead teams through growth and change
- Ability to coach leaders and advise senior leaders
