Job Summary
Lead the operational elements of all Payments units, overseeing daily operations, team development, and execution of the strategic payments roadmap. Maximize efficiency and profitability while managing departmental budgets and production targets aligned with organizational goals. Drive process improvements through project automation and system efficiencies, ensuring all divisions meet compliance requirements and established timelines. Coach, mentor, and manage the Payments team, including performance management and training. Collaborate cross-functionally on strategic initiatives and represent the credit union at community events.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 8+ years of discipline-specific experience
- 5+ years of people management experience
- Advanced knowledge of applicable payments regulations, processes, and requirements
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, drive process improvements, and execute strategic initiatives
Desired Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Advanced management experience preferred
- Proven ability to collaborate across departments and lead complex projects
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
