Job Summary
Director of Patient Services (DPS) oversees clinical operations, compliance, nursing oversight, and patient care quality across the organization. Manages day-to-day clinical operations, supervision of nurses and outsourced clinical vendors, audits and regulatory readiness, plans of care and clinical documentation, and collaboration with HR, Intake, Coordination, physicians, and leadership. Requires leadership, accountability, problem-solving, and ability to lead quality improvement initiatives; comfortable field visits as needed; ideal candidate has RN background, home care regulatory knowledge, and experience with audits, Medicaid/Medicare regulations, and DOH surveys.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred
- Active RN license preferred
- Home care experience required
- Experience with audits, compliance, DOH surveys, and regulatory standards
- Experience supervising nurses or clinical teams
- Strong knowledge of Medicaid, Medicare, and NY home care regulations
- Experience with HHAeXchange, Sandata, RN Pad, or similar systems preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
