Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors to continually improve home health care services. Assist clinical supervisors in managing teams, planning, and evaluating clinician performance annually. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and adjust staffing levels accordingly. Manage clinical records, statistics, and inventory supplies while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Develop orientation and continuing education programs for new and existing personnel. Assist in budget preparation, policy development, and performance improvement reviews. Promote home health referrals in the community and act as active executive director in the administrator's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in health care preferred
