Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance to coordinators and clinical supervisors to improve home health care services, assist in managing clinical teams, and conduct annual clinician performance evaluations. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and assist in budget preparation, hiring, and termination of personnel. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and Joint Commission standards while maintaining adequate inventory supplies. Develop orientation programs, implement continuing education, and evaluate organization performance through productivity reviews. Promote home health referrals and stay informed about field changes to share with staff. Report to the Executive Director/Administrator and assume active administrative authority in their absence.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in health care preferred
