Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel, while providing guidance to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors on improving home health care delivery. Assist clinical supervisors in managing teams, planning, and evaluating clinician performance, including annual reviews and hiring decisions. Manage patient clinical records, statistics, and inventory supplies to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and Joint Commission standards. Interpret operational indicators for census changes and assist in budget preparation and performance improvement programs. Develop orientation and continuing education programs for new and existing staff. Promote home health referrals in the community and act as active executive director in the administrator's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver
- Must have an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements
- Automobile must be in good working order
