Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance to coordinators and clinical supervisors to improve home health care services, assist in managing clinical teams, and evaluate clinician performance annually. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes impacting staffing levels, revenues, or expenses. Assist in preparing the organization's budget, developing skills for evaluating clinicians, and maintaining clinical records in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Develop orientation programs, implement continuing education, and ensure inventory supplies are adequate for patient services. Promote home health referrals and act as active executive director in the administrator's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization, at least with one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in health care preferred
