Job Summary
Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel, including guidance and counseling to coordinators and Clinical Supervisors. Assist clinical supervisors in managing teams, planning, and evaluating clinician performance through annual reviews. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes and manage staffing levels while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal laws regarding licensure and Joint Commission standards. Hire, evaluate, and terminate organization personnel; develop orientation and continuing education programs. Assist the executive director in budget preparation and administration, maintaining adequate inventory supplies. Promote home health referrals in the healthcare community and stay informed about field changes. This role serves as the active executive director in the administrator's absence.
Required Qualifications
- Registered nurse with current licensure to practice professional nursing in the state
- Bachelor's degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three years of management experience in a home health or related health care organization
- At least one year in a supervisory or administrative capacity
- Home Health experience
- Must be a licensed driver with an automobile that is insured in accordance with the state and / or organization requirements and is in good working order
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in health care preferred
