Director of Patient Care Services

Coordinate and oversee all direct and indirect patient services provided by clinical organization personnel. Provide guidance and counseling to coordinators, case managers, and Clinical Supervisors to continually improve hospice care services. Assist in managing clinical teams, planning, and the orientation program for new personnel. Interpret operational indicators to detect census changes that impact staffing levels, revenues, or expenses. Evaluate performance of Clinical Supervisors and case managers, and conduct annual evaluations on clinicians. Oversee the maintenance of patient clinical records, statistics, and reports in compliance with local, state, and federal laws. Assist the Executive Director in budget preparation and administer organization policies and procedures. Ensure proper inventory supplies and equipment for patient services while promoting hospice referrals in the healthcare community.
