Job Summary
Senior-level Director of Partnerships leading Illinois K–12 district relationships, driving district acquisitions, responding to RFPs, and ensuring successful post-sale implementation and retention. Acts as primary K-12 relationship builder for Illinois with district leaders (superintendents, principals, food-service directors) and supports cross-functional collaboration with Operations, Finance, Nutrition, Marketing, and HR. Responsibilities include developing territory sales plans, coordinating pursuit efforts, representing Quest Ready culture at district meetings and associations (IASBO, IASB, IASA), managing transitions from sale to implementation, gathering district feedback for product/service improvements, and guiding proposal development, pricing strategy, and contract negotiations. Requires extensive travel across the territory, evening/weekend meetings, and a Bachelor's degree with a valid driver’s license. Compensation is salaried/exempt with performance-based incentives; company travel expense reimbursement and standard benefits; auto allowance, commission, and bonuses are eligible. Remote work is supported when not on-site; location is primarily Lombard, IL with US-wide remote option.
Required Qualifications
- Retired school administrator preferred or equivalent K–12 sales or leadership experience in Illinois
- Demonstrated experience with district-level procurement, RFPs, board presentations, and contract negotiation
- Strong relationships within Illinois K–12 system and familiarity with regional agencies, funding, and procurement rules
- Proven ability to influence district decision-makers and navigate complex stakeholder environments
- Excellent communicator and presenter; collaborative cross-functional leader
- Ability to travel extensively across the territory and attend evening or weekend meetings as required
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Valid driver’s license
