Job Summary
Director of Partnerships will lead the development, execution, and performance management of global and U.S. strategic partnerships across priority growth areas in healthcare, including laboratories, health systems, diagnostics, and industry partners. The role requires identifying, structuring, and managing high-impact partnerships, strong relationship-building with senior external stakeholders, and credible execution within a matrixed, global environment. Key responsibilities include negotiating complex partnership agreements, developing a global partnerships roadmap aligned with corporate strategy, and acting as the internal orchestrator across commercial, regulatory, legal, finance, supply chain, and regional teams to enable successful partnership execution. The role emphasizes KPIs, governance, dashboards, and executive reviews to measure value creation and ensure strategic impact. Education required: bachelor’s degree; MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred; prior experience in healthcare partnerships and cross-border/co-development arrangements is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Experience leading and orchestrating complex partnerships within healthcare ecosystems (medical devices, diagnostics, laboratories, health systems, or DTC healthcare)
- Proven experience structuring co-development, co-regulatory, and co-commercial arrangements (e.g., product integration, 510(k) submission, channel/reseller)
- Experience negotiating and managing multi-party and/or cross-border partnerships, enabling country-level execution
- Strong commercial and financial acumen related to partnership economics
- Ability to operate effectively in a highly matrixed, global organization
- Track record of owning partnership objectives and KPIs with dashboards and executive reviews; ability to translate strategy into executable partnerships
